Early Retirement & Redundancy
There are a number of early retirement and redundancy categories, which are divided into two groups, under and over age 50.
Under Age 50
- Compulsory early severance
- Flexible early severance
Over Age 50
- Compulsory early retirement
- Flexible early retirement
- Actuarially reduced retirement
- Approved early retirement
From 6th April 2006 all new entrants will only be able to draw their early retirement or redundancy pension from age 55.
